Dashwood is all about that rare combination of high quality, well thought out practical gear that’s also seriously beautiful and fits perfectly. We want you to feel your Dashwood gear is more than a little bit special.

Everything is hand made by Becky in our workshop in the Chiltern hills, with our two Vizslas - Betsy & Ruby - always on hand.

How it all started

This is Betsy (or Follyhall Miss Dashwood to give her her full title) - and she is the reason that Dashwood Dog exists. As a pup she hated the rain and cold, and also hated any coat we bought - nothing fit her deep chest, long neck and lean body. So with decades of professional sewing & creative experience (Becky spent many years in the Costume Department on TV shows such as EastEnders, Casualty & Holby City) we designed and made our own - a coat that fit Betsy beautifully, looked amazing whilst keeping her warm and dry through play and zoomies without restriction. After our fabulous coat success, we added elegant waterproof collars with an element of personalisation for style you just can’t get elsewhere and the rest is history.

Every piece that gets added to our range is designed to combine beauty and practicality in equal measures. We pride ourselves on quality and finish as we want you to use and enjoy our products for a long time. They’re really rather special.
